(EDITOR'S NOTE: There is no evidence??? In the world of The Brownsville Void's Booby Witless-Cervezas there doesn't have to be evidence to substantiate any of his stupidities. First and foremost, John Chambers and Donald Trump are Republicans. I don't know a Democrat who isn't supporting Joe Biden. Is Witless-Cervezas saying that Chambers is not voting for Trump? The blathering blogger believes that Trump and his whole family belong in jail. Is the Republican Chambers agreeing with Witless-Cervezas and that if he becomes Cameron County Sheriff, he will round up the family, deposit them at the Carrizales-Rucker Detention Center and place them in solitary confinement for contributing to the COVID-19 deaths of almost 200,000 Americans? Do the county's racists know that Chambers doesn't stand with Trump? Do the county's rednecks know that Chambers doesn't stand with Trump? Does the county's religious right know that Chambers doesn't stand with Trump? Do the county's rich reactionaries know that Chambers doesn't stand with Trump? What is Witless-Cervezas' evidence that Chambers doesn't stand with Trump? We haven't heard Chambers once criticize Trump for mishandling the Coronavirus crisis. We haven't heard Chambers once criticize Trump for mismanaging the economy. We haven't heard Chambers once criticize Trump for inciting hate toward minorities. If Chambers doesn't stand with Trump according to Witless-Cervezas, why didn't he compete as an independent? Eric Garza, the Democratic nominee for sheriff, doesn't stand with Trump and he isn't afraid to shout his disgust regarding the perverted president to the high heavens. If Chambers doesn't stand with Trump, why doesn't he publicly register his disgust towards the perverted president? At The McHale Report we will register our disgust, not only for Chambers who seems to frequent court rooms dealing with personal legal matters more than he does the men's room, but for Witless-Cervezas who has joined Trump's Republican cult in his support for Chambers. But should we be surprised by the hypocrisy? Witless-Cervezas never stops yapping about the female victims of male abuse, but when the female leadership at the Association of Brownsville Educators endorsed candidates whom he opposed, he threatened these defenseless ladies with a "blood bath" for exercising their democratic to vote for the candidates of their choice. Witnessing Witless-Cervezas joining forces with a Republican shouldn't astounded anyone who has followed his wayward writings for years. He may say today that Trey Martinez is the greatest mayor in the history of Brownsville and turn around tomorrow and say that Trey Martinez is the worst mayor in the history of Brownsville. Next he'll be endorsing the religious radical Rey Gonzalez against Congressman Filemon Vela.)

 THE BROWNSVILLE HERALD: "John Chambers, who is running on the Republican ticket, last worked in law enforcement in 2016 as chief of the Indian Lake Police Department. He was convicted that year on 14 felony counts for allegedly having an officer falsify firearms qualification records under pressure from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, which was later determined to have lacked the jurisdiction to require the documents. The former chief expressed frustration that his criminal history — which was since overturned and set for a new punishment hearing on misdemeanor charges that are now also on appeal in Austin — is the first point of criticism when discussing his candidacy. Documents provided by TCOLE show that Chambers is “statutorily ineligible” to hold a peace officer license in the State of Texas following its revocation after his original conviction on the felony charges. “Yes, my license was revoked for the conviction of a felony. That felony no longer exists. The criteria for revoking my license no longer exists, so they have to give it back,” said Chambers. TCOLE did not respond to multiple requests for a determination as to whether a license held by a former officer with a partially reversed conviction must be reinstated. According to TCOLE’s website, Class A or B misdemeanors mean that someone applying to get relicensed could submit a waiver request through an agency administrator intending to hire the applicant, then that packet would be reviewed by the executive director to determine if the request is placed on the commission meeting agenda for review. The Cameron County Elections Department said it would likely be up to the Commissioner’s Court to appoint a replacement until a special election could be held if a candidate could not become licensed."

(EDITOR'S NOTE: Comparing Democrat Eric Garza with Republican John Chambers in their race for Cameron County Sheriff would be akin to comparing a virgin with a whore. Garza, who has a long record of serving the county, his last years as the district clerk, is clean. His professional past is not only spotless, but he oversaw a smooth operation at the district clerk's office after the iconic Aurora de la Garza retired. And Chambers!?!? According to the dying daily, Chambers "was convicted on 14 felony counts for allegedly having an officer falsify firearm qualifications records," he later "expressed frustration about his criminal history," he is "statutorily ineligible to hold a peace officer license in the State of Texas," he "regrets that his license was revoked for the conviction of a felony," and that if he prevailed against Garza, "the Commissioner's Court would have to appoint a replacement until a special election could be held if a candidate could not become licensed." Besides the fact that he is a Trump Republican, besides the fact that his only leadership qualifications are as police chief of the hick town of Indian Lake where he battled personnel problems, he has not been in law enforcement for almost five years although as an alleged law officer he has found himself behind bars as can be readily observed his the photo above in which he models a pink jumpsuit. Chambers' supporters wildly assert out of desperation that Garza would be the next Conrado Cantu, the singing sheriff who worked for the cartels rather than his own constituents and then spent a third of his life in a federal prison. Based on the facts presented in the newspaper, Chambers is already the next Conrado Cantu. "Why is he running?" asks Justo Leyes, The McHale Report's legal expert. "Did BISD trustees Erasmo Castro, Carlos Elizondo and Viro Cardenas who have been ushered away by the police to jail inspire him into thinking that only a con is adept at playing a con game on the ignorant masses? When the Herald drags an individual through the mud, which is rare for the newspaper since it never likes to hurt anyone's feelings for fear of losing advertising, that person must have stepped so far over the line that the daily has to report on blatant excesses in order to save the little credibility it still possesses."  JOHN CHAMBERS: "This election is not about political parties. Being safe is not a matter who are your 'compadres" and how many special interests groups are behind you. The next Sheriff of Cameron County has nothing to do whatsoever with who is running for president either. I believe my opponents banks that if you are a Democrat, you will be voting blind for him. I guess he thinks he has already won. He might insult you not even bothering to lay down his platform for your consideration. Many years ago Cameron County elected a sheriff with no law enforcement experience. Conrado Cantu was a man who was found guilty of conspiring with drug cartels. We cannot afford to make the same mistake."

We have had enough incidents of white cops shooting black victims because they mistook reality for a TV show and started firing bullets and killing innocent victims because they thought they were actors on a television production. If this election isn't about political parties, why is he running as a Trump Republican and berating Democrats for being "blind" lemmings? Chambers doesn't seem to comprehend that when you choose to be a Republican or a Democrat, you are making a statement. Chambers, who has survived professionally practicing cronyism, must be suffering from an inferiority complex if he thinks Garza is taking a victory lap. Garza knows that there are approximately 35% Republicans in the county and with Sheriff Omar Lucio betraying the Democratic Party and endorsing Chambers after suffering a serious case of sour grapes when Garza crushed Lucio in the runoff, the Democratic nominee never takes a foe lightly and he realizes that there is a path for victory in a perfect storm. Chambers displayed his lack of class when he accused Garza of "insulting" the public by failing to provide a "platform" for the electorate. It was Chambers who ran unopposed and didn't have to utter a word on the hustings. Garza, on the other hand, was in a grueling confrontation with a respected opponent and had to promote a convincing argument to prevail. A longtime Cameron district clerk and originally an underling in the department for many years, Garza knows the intricacies of a bureaucratic administration and the complexities of a large budget. From the outset, he has argued via his platform that there was wasteful spending in the sheriff's office, that the Lucio administration was consistently overbudgeted because of inept management, inmates were being housed at outside facilities at a tremendous cost to the taxpayers and there was a lack of DWI enforcement with a significant loss of lives and property a terrible consequence. It was Garza's tough platform that paved the way to his victory. And buried at his own end of the field and down to a Hail Mary pass, Chambers in a last-ditch measure launches a bomb and accuses the straighter-than-arrow Garza of being the next Conrado Cantu. What a disgusting ploy! Garza's colleagues have known him for years. They know that he doesn't abuse alcohol. They know he doesn't abuse cocaine and other drugs. They know he doesn't disrespect women. And they know that he isn't a member of the cartels transporting drug loads a la Conrado Cantu in a county patrol car through South Texas. If Chambers believes he is going to defeat Garza via propaganda mail-outs promoting lies that don't pass the smell taste and are outlandish attempts at grasping for straws, he would leave his mentor Donald Trump with no other alternative but to say, "You're fired!")

CHAMBERS 10-26

 John Chambers, the Republican Cameron County Sheriff nominee, recently covered the county with his flyers announcing his love for God. It is true that like God little girls catch his eye and nobody would be surprised if Chambers were going door to door a la Donald Trump with a Bible over his head.

But in his hypocritical testimony that he has been sent to save this god-forsaken corner of the country, he has encountered, to his dismay, the devil. And who is this Satan character? He is probably the finest journalist the Rio Grande Valley has ever produced. The McAllen Marvel, he calls himself /DP-M.

He has been riding Chambers hard like Trump rides one of his prostitutes. Three weeks ago he broke the story of the campaign season when he asserted that Chambers had been stalking a 16-year-old girl. Stalking a 16-year-old girl!!!

Yes! Stalking a 16-year-old girl!!!

The titillating tidbit didn't cause a stir. Disappointed by the lack of reaction, /DP-M noted again this weekend that Chambers had been accused of stalking a 16-year-old girl. This time the veteran journalist's gained the attention he so desperately desires as any hard-working reporter does when he has a scoop that deserves publicity in order to save the community from a sexual predator.

"It's the block-busting scandal of the campaign season," said Scott Steinbeck. "/DP-M has grabbed Chambers' six-shooter and filled him with holes. We have received the same documents that /DP-M is utilizing to expose the rapacious and not the religious Chambers. The information certainly substantiates /DP-M's conclusion that Chambers is unfit for the job."

"We are not apologizing for chasing the John Chambers' information," thunders /DP-M who has struck his victim through the heart with a bolt of lightning. And neither should he as he crusades for the voiceless masses eking out existences on this shank of land known as the Rio Grande Valley. What will /DP-M break next regarding the creepy Chambers.

Will it match his October 6th posting: "Mr. Chambers does have a track record that would indicate an inability to get along with colleagues, with unacceptable charges of stalking young women, with firings and dismissals – too many for The Republic to consider him a credible candidate."

Unfortunately, /DP-M's foot work didn't create the stampede he desired so he decided this his sensationalistic inside info deserved another crack this weekend. It wasn't a pretty commentary for Chambers who endeavors to portray himself as the Second Coming.

"John Chambers, the chubby, aw-shucks Republican in the Nov. 3rd contest against Democrat Eric Garza needs to be looked-at carefully by county voters," penned /DP-M over a bottle of his favorite Shiraz. 

"There is, as we have noted in previous reporting, something to make you wonder. He’s worked law enforcement in his odd own way (stalking a 16-year-old girl in one incident), been the outsider in his own department (Early, Texas) and even been arrested."

Wow!

Sometimes you have to drag a politician through the mud and there is no doubt that /DP-M has dumped Chambers in the pig sty and left him to drown in the mire. Garza should hire /DP-M as his publicist. The Democrat would win in a landslide.

 Before /DP-M broke the story that Republican Cameron County Sheriff candidate "Chubby" John Chambers was accused of stalking a 16-year-old girl and according to the Baker Boys was eventually relieved of his duties when he was a policeman in the good ol' boy town of Early, Texas, was Chambers even sheriff material for starters?

As police chief of Hicksville, better known in the RGV as Indian Lake, it was one problem follow by yet another controversy. And he expects to manage the Cameron County Sheriff Department!

He escaped by the skin of his teeth paying the price for 14 felonies. Now he is awaiting sentencing for 14 misdemeanors. If he were to win, would he have his office in a jail cell. Would the prisoners work for him as guards?

/DP-M, the consummate journalist whose résumé would be the dream of any Brownsville Herald hack, is sitting on a treasure trove of documents that only add to Chambers' tarnished reputation as the Lawless Lawman. Will /DP-M publish more sensational articles about Chambers' piss-poor professional past or will he entertain himself in the style of a cat playing with a mouse? /DP-M is an eccentric fellow so nobody ever knows his true motivations.

In his lurid accounts of Chambers stalking a 16-year-old girl, /DP-M wrote in his original scoop that Chambers was "stalking young women." Besides the incident with the teenager, is /DP-M asserting that there was a pattern of behavior that he will flesh out for his readership in the upcoming days?

A life filled with felonies and misdemeanors. A professional record that reads more like a criminal record. An uncage beast on the loose as /DP-M categorically charges based on records to which we also have access at The McHale Report. This is John Chambers. And he is asking for your vote so he can enforce the law. We would conclude from the overwhelming evidence that he is much more adept at breaking the law. 

Nobody has done this community a worthier service than /DP-M. And he doesn't even live in Brownsville and Cameron County. He lives in McAllen and Hidalgo County. He has made, he is making and he will continue to make the case that Chambers is unfit to be sheriff.

He is absolutely right? Chambers should withdraw from the race in the wake of /DP-M's incriminating revelations. One Trump is enough. We don't need two.

GARZA 9-14

 According to The Brownsville Herald, electing the next Cameron County sheriff is as black and white choice as choosing between an incompetent Donald Trump and a competent Joe Biden, between a racist Republican Party and an inclusive Democratic Party, between a John Chambers who has spent time behind bars and an Eric Garza who at worst has stopped at a bar.

In a recent article the newspaper published that Chambers "was convicted on 14 felony counts for allegedly having an officer falsify firearm qualifications records," he later "expressed frustration about his criminal history," he is "statutorily ineligible to hold a peace officer license in the State of Texas," he "regrets that his license was revoked for the conviction of a felony," and that if he prevailed against Garza, "the Commissioner's Court would have to appoint a replacement until a special election could be held if a candidate could not become licensed."  

In the following article, the daily presents Garza as squeaky clean who wants to take his administrative and his law enforcement experience to the sheriff's office and bring the department into the 21st century rather than letting it slide back into the 19th century when the Texas Rangers were the law of this lawless land. In so many words the Herald, which doesn't endorse candidates because it needs political ads from all factions in order to survive financially, is more than intimating that Garza is the obvious choice while Chambers would be a disaster. Posts the dying daily:

Eric Garza, who won the Democratic nomination in July, is emphasizing both the importance of his administrative background as former District Clerk and the fact that he does, in fact, have law enforcement experience. He is a licensed peace officer with TCOLE and has been since 2010.

“I wanted to make a change for Cameron County, so I decided to go to the police academy,” he explained, describing attending nightly classes and training for months while working full-time.
Garza was licensed through Constable, Precinct 1, then moved over to Precinct 4 in the Los Fresnos area, which currently holds his license, he said.

His administration would begin with an audit of all the equipment, ammunition, fleet, and anything else purchased by the office to ensure that all funds and grants it is receiving are accounted for, Garza stated.

Compliance issues with Texas Commission on Jail Standards at the county’s three jails would then be addressed, including training both jailers and administration to ensure that inmates are treated with dignity.

Garza said he would then focus on deputy salaries to ensure that resources and money the county puts into training employees don’t go to waste when deputies leave the area for better pay.

Other planned initiatives involve putting body cameras and dash cams to use, as well as developing the infrastructure to handle an increase in data. According to Garza, the Sheriff’s Office as it stands does not have a system where it can look up all cases it investigates online, operating instead with paper.

He added that transparency and rebuilding trust with vulnerable communities through direct engagement, work with schools and community organizations is integral to address sentiment among locals that law enforcement is here to punish and not to serve.

“Right now, the Sheriff’s office does not have an internal affairs division, they do not have a public integrity division. If something happens and they don’t tell you, nobody will ever know,” he said.

“If something happens, we’re going to tell you. We’re going to investigate both sides — the inmate and the employee.”

GARZA 9-17

 It's bad enough that almost every candidate for the BISD Board of Trustees is attired in pink jumpsuits as a result of criminal excesses, but when the Republican candidate for Cameron County Sheriff is facing one years in jail, the voters start thinking that Donald Trump may be a saint after all in comparison to this motley crew.

The Brownsville Herald is reporting that John "Jailbird" Chambers is looking at one year behind bars on 14 misdemeanor charges as well as a $4,000 fine for each count. And this is the guy who has the audacity to call his Democratic opponent, Eric Garza, the next Conrado Cantu if the latter prevails in the November elections.

Chambers has been coordinating a smear campaign against Garza in a desperate strategy to win at all costs. As Cameron County District Clerk, Garza served the community competently. And he has no criminal record, which seems to be a prerequisite among candidates in Brownsville and Cameron County these days.

Beginning with multiple felony charges, Chambers has been in and out of the courts for the last four years. Do we need a sheriff and criminals appearing before judges together? What a joke, but it is no laughing matter. 

You would think that candidates would have the good sense to vet themselves, and maybe look at themselves in the mirror too, before they hit the campaign trail asking us to trust them when the state doesn't trust them. Reports the dying daily:

Texas’ highest criminal appellate court declined to hear a petition for discretionary review in the case of John Chambers, former chief of the Indian Lake Police Department, who sought to have 14 misdemeanor counts of tampering with governmental records reversed.

The petition was the second filed at the Court of Criminal Appeals (CCA) by Chambers. It was published on Tuesday under a section listing petitions for review the court has chosen not to re-litigate.

Chambers was convicted in January 2016 on 14 counts of tampering with governmental records, all state jail felonies. The former chief appealed those convictions at the 13th Court of Appeals, which affirmed the 103rd District Court of Cameron County’s judgment in May 2017.

In August 2017, Chambers appealed his convictions at CCA, which found that evidence was insufficient to show that Chambers ordered a subordinate officer to falsify firearms qualification records with intent to defraud or harm the state.

The case was remanded to the 13th Court, which reversed the convictions, sending the case back to the trial court for a new punishment hearing. He faces up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $4,000 on each count.

Chambers again appealed to CCA in June, seeking to potentially have those misdemeanors reviewed and reversed.

GARZA 9-17

 When Kamala Harris was running against Joe Biden, she attacked him viciously. In the early stages of the Democratic Primary, her aggressive treatment of Biden had her supporters thinking that she might win the nomination. She faded quickly and was one of the first candidates to withdraw. Now she is running with Biden as his vice president partner. After tough criticisms of each other, the Democrats have united and are moving forward as a whole.

Nobody ridiculed Donald Trump in 2016 more than his fellow Republicans. As they saw him gaining more and more momentum, they warned out of desperation that he would be dangerous as president. (They were right on that count.) When he won, the Republicans joined the Trump cult, drank the Kool-Aid and rolled to victory.

Their primary was so ferocious that Trump accused Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz's father of participating in a conspiracy that culminated in the assassination of John Kennedy. Now Trump is suggesting that if he wins a second term, he could nominate Cruz to the U.S. Supreme Court.

In the Cameron County Democratic Party Sheriff's race we at The McHale Report endorsed the incumbent Omar Lucio against former Cameron County District Clerk Eric Garza. We did everything within our literary and journalistic skills to promote Lucio and to denigrate Garza. 

That's Politics 101, but when the dust had settled, Garza had decimated his foe by a whopping winning percentage of 57% to 43%. With the family fight concluded, we Democrats (most of us) have become one in 2020 as no Republican deserves our support in these terrible times of Trump.

We have joined Garza and our fellow Democrats in our struggle to rescue America from the traitorous Trump, the rabid Republicans, the racists, the rednecks, the religious right bigots and the ring-wing bigwigs like our own Boozin'" Bill Hudson.

As candidates, Garza is easily the clearer choice. Throw out the partisan sympathies. He is better educated, has county-wide experiences and has overseen a large administrative staff. And it is always nice to know that as an average citizen he has a clean record.

Chambers can't make the same claim. The Brownsville Herald in today's edition published that the Trump Republican could be spending a year in jail in the near future as well as paying thousands in fines for 14 different misdemeanors. He hasn't been in law enforcement since 2016 and then it was as the police chief of the hick town Indian Lake where he encountered one personnel problem after another. It has been well-documented that he has no leadership abilities.

Though we have disagreed with Garza in the past, which is normal in any primary, we are not sour-grape Democrats. We are sad that Sheriff Omar Lucio has decided to abandon the Democratic Party that put and kept him in office. He shouldn't have permitted his bitterness over a loss in a fair-and-square election to cloud his vision.

We support Garza without reservation. He has the potential to be an excellent sheriff. Chambers is a disgrace. His conduct is an insult to all officers who wear the badge. And as to potential, he ain't got no game cause he ain't got his mojo.

GARZA 9-18

 THE BROWNSVILLE HERALD: "Texas’ highest criminal appellate court declined to hear a petition for discretionary review in the case of John Chambers, former chief of the Indian Lake Police Department, who sought to have 14 misdemeanor counts of tampering with governmental records reversed. The petition was the second filed at the Court of Criminal Appeals (CCA) by Chambers. It was published on Tuesday under a section listing petitions for review the court has chosen not to re-litigate. Chambers was convicted in January 2016 on 14 counts of tampering with governmental records, all state jail felonies. The former chief appealed those convictions at the 13th Court of Appeals, which affirmed the 103rd District Court of Cameron County’s judgment in May 2017. In August 2017, Chambers appealed his convictions at CCA, which found that evidence was insufficient to show that Chambers ordered a subordinate officer to falsify firearms qualification records with intent to defraud or harm the state. The case was remanded to the 13th Court, which reversed the convictions, sending the case back to the trial court for a new punishment hearing. He faces up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $4,000 on each count. Chambers again appealed to CCA in June, seeking to potentially have those misdemeanors reviewed and reversed."

(EDITOR'S NOTE: The state didn't have to send Sheriff Conrado Cantu to jail until he took office. If Republican reactionary and Trump apostle John Chambers pulled an upset and defeated Democrat Eric Garza for Cameron County Sheriff, the state might have to send Chambers to jail before he took office. With every candidate seemingly campaigning in pink jumpsuits in the Dance of the Flamingos, Chambers, the rather overweight ballerina, is back in court once again defending himself against 14 misdemeanors--a dramatic improvement over the time when he was defending himself against 14 felonies--as he has spent the last four year mired in legal proceedings because of his shenanigans. He was such a bad candidate four years ago that his own Republicans kicked him off the ballot. Like his partisan Trump, Chambers is implementing a strategy that is based on negatives. Maybe he should look at himself in the mirror and perhaps he would have a more profound sense of the word negatives. His brand of dirty politics isn't resonating when he is so dirty himself. Chambers has no platform. He speaks an English that must have been learned in Mississippi or Alabama. He is not in physical shape. He has never met the bar as a leader. The Brownsville Herald doesn't endorse any candidates because it wants to clip all the participants for ads, but when the dying daily recognizes out of guilt that the newspaper does have a small responsibility to the community, articles like the Herald's latest scurrilous piece on Chambers is a direct and unequivocal message: Chambers is unfit for the job!) 

GARZA 9-22

 John Chambers, the Republican nominee for Cameron County Sheriff, must be in the Guinness Book of World Records. By our math he has faced over the last four years 28 counts for felonies and misdemeanors. His opponent, former Cameron County District Clerk Eric Garza, has never had a parking ticket according to the Baker Boys, the famed private investigators.

Chambers is still in the courts endeavoring to establish his innocence. The justice system isn't cooperating. Desperate to win at any cost, Chambers is calling his foe the next Conrado Cantu, the singing sheriff who used to escort cartel drugloads through South Texas in his patrol card. We would suggest that Chambers stare at himself in the mirror before he starts making these wild accusations that on the surface are a more accurate reflection on himself rather than his adversary.

According to Marshall LawThe McHale Report's expert on all police matters, Chambers should withdraw from the race. He would be more of a role model for his inmates than he would be for his officers. El Rrun Rrun's Publisher Juan Montoya wrote about the sheriff's race and in this edited excerpt Chambers' sorry saga emerges. Writes the blogger:

John Chambers political purgatory began in March 2016 when he was removed from the ballot by the Cameron County Republican party leadership after winning the primary and replaced with county investigator Victor Cortez whom Lucio easily defeated in November 2016.

In 2016, Cortez played a direct role in getting a grand jury to indict Chambers, formerly Chief of Police at Indian Lake, on 14 counts of Tampering With a Government Document where he was accused of directing a confidential informant – his assistant chief Alfredo Avalos – to put together files on his 30 deputies' firearm certification.

Avalos, after receiving immunity through Cortez – told a jury that he was acting under Chambers' orders. Cortez was the head of the county's Public Integrity Unit. He initiated the investigation into Chambers following the disclosure that the Indian Lake chief had gone to the FBI with information on possible local officials' wrongdoing.

On the two previous occasions the charges against Chambers were dropped because of lack of evidence. The investigation into the alleged gun-certification changes originated with a Cortez-inspired investigation.

Cortez also  assisted his former DEA colleague George Delaney to try Chambers even though he was his opponent for the GOP sheriff nomination in the upcoming March 1, 2016 primary elections. 

After being charged with the 14 counts, Chambers was convicted for filing the reports with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement,. The TCOLE was later determined to have lacked the jurisdiction to require the documents and the charges were knocked down to misdemeanors.

But the damage had been done. Chambers had bested Cortez in the GOP primary and was removed by the party and replaced with the second-place vote-getter Cortez. Incumbent Lucio handily defeated Cortez.

Now in his November 3 race against Garza, the three stories in the Brownsville Herald on the upcoming race invariably focus on the 2016 charges and subsequent reversal of the felony convictions by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.

Also, repeating the claims by Garza supporters, they say TCOLE rules make Chambers “statutorily ineligible” to hold a peace officer license. This despite Chambers' assertions that although his license was first revoked before he won his appeal "That felony no longer exists. The criteria for revoking my license no longer exists, so they have to give it back."

The TCOLE’s website states that someone applying to get relicensed with Class A or B misdemeanors could submit a waiver request through any agency administrator that would then be reviewed by the executive director.  Chambers has worked for at least three cities as chief of police and is a state correctional officer. Any of those could apply for a waiver on his behalf. Even Cameron County. Of course, he has to win in November first before a disqualification applied.

But the daily takes it one step further. It claims that Cameron County Elections Administrator Remi Garza  said it would likely be up to the county's Commissioner’s Court to appoint a replacement until a special election could be held. Yet, no one can remember when a Texas judge has overturned an election and approved the appointment of a sheriff by the county commissioners against the popular vote. It simply is not done.

So after having battled his own party to be its nominee, reversing his conviction on felony charges, and in the process of reinstating his law enforcement license, Chambers now has to contend with an absentee "carpetbagger" daily that has moved out of Brownsville and gives token coverage to local issues. 

GARZA 10-5

 The McHale Report is endorsing Eric Garza for Cameron County Sheriff in the November general election. Comparing his record with the Republican and Independent candidates, he is the clear choice. As a county-wide administrator during his successful terms as Cameron County District Clerk, he clearly has the skills to clean house and set the sheriff's office in a more accountable and transparent direction. He epitomizes dynamic and honest leadership.

"I feel it is important to clear the air," said Scott Steinbeck, The McHale Report's managing editor. "In the Democratic runoff we supported incumbent Omar Lucio because he had the experience and had managed his operation competently and professionally.

"/DP-M, our colleague who is the publisher of The Brownsville Republic, predicted that Lucio would fall because he was simply too old at 84 and that the electorate would demand a youthful change and that Garza would benefit from this sentiment. We had to tip our hats to the veteran journalist when his prognostication proved overwhelmingly correct. Garza walloped Lucio, 57% to 43%. As Max Maxwell, the dean of the RGV sportswriters, said, 'That was a first-round knockout!'

"In these times of Trump, we cannot support Republicans, even if it were Carlos Cascos running against Conrado Cantu for dogcatcher. We find it disingenuous that anonymous detractors are criticizing us for switching our allegiance to Garza. We are Democrats and once we have made our decision as a party, we unit behind that candidate. Unlike Sheriff Lucio whom we still hold in high regard, we are not sore losers. 

"With Trump leading the country toward perdition and supported by his fellow Republicans who cower in fear of his shadow, we would never vote for a red lemming. And as to the Independent that Garza is facing, he is campaigning with all the vigor of an old man walking his dog in the park on a late summer afternoon.

"It is time for a generational change and Garza is in the forefront of that vanguard. He is doing his best at keeping to the high road, but he is also proving that he can exchange with the best. In the eye-for-an-eye reality of politics, you can't allow yourself to become the target of unwarranted attacks. If an adversary is intent on earning a black eye for his tactics, Garza is more than capable of delivering a stiff right.

"Trump has drawn a line in the sand and he has said that either you're with the racists, the rednecks and the reactionaries or you're against us. As Democrats, our party means something and anyone who votes for Trump or a Republican is a traitor to our country. It's that black and white in 2020.

"But this isn't a lesser of two evils, or three evils, in this race, but an affirmation that Garza is a needed change, a breath of fresh air, an idealist who is also a realist, a man with an impeccable record who has been tested as a public servant. 

"He is doing his best at running an issues-oriented campaign, but there are times when personal insults require a politico to take off his gloves. But that's part of the process of climbing into the ring. We want our candidate to prove that he can deliver a good punch as well as take a good punch. To our delight, Garza is demonstrating that he is one tough hombre." 

GARZA 10-12

 Estanislao Contreras, the poet of Chicano Fuck Songs, eats lunch at Mi Pueblito every Monday. Jack O'Connell, the great unpublished novelist, joins him. They both bleed Democratic blue.

"How's the sheriff's race look to you?" asks Estanislao. "Are you still with Garza?"

"Of course I'm with him."

"I know that. I meant your impression about him winning?"

"As district clerk, he learned the mechanics of running a country-wide campaign," answers Jack. "We saw his performance against Sheriff Lucio where he beat the incumbent, 57% to 43%. That kind of feat just doesn't happen. Outcomes of this magnitude are the result of preparation."

"You don't think Lucio's endorsement of his opponent might not swing the result?" inquires Estanislao.

"His foe is no Carlos Cascos. He lacks the gravitas. Ultimately, this is a Democrat vs. Republican showdown. Are Democrats going to betray their party for Trump? A Democrat is a traitor if he or she is opting for anyone who represents Trump."

"Do you believe that Garza can ride the Biden donkey to victory?"

"When you have Trump carrying an elephant on his back, this is a black-and-white decision. You're either committed to Democratic values or your selling out to Republican special interests. Garza benefits from the Democratic Party because the numbers are so overwhelming in his favor. And everyone agrees that it's time for a significant change. There may be this image of a lawman wearing a Texas Ranger hat and carrying a six-shooter, but ultimately the post is an administrative position. Garza has vast experience overseeing a budget and he'll hire the best cops to manage the law-and-order division."

"Of all the local elections, this has disintegrated into the dirtiest," continues Estanislao. "Does this hurling mud back and forth help or hurt Garza?"

"Like Biden and Trump, the majority of voters have already made up their minds. A little entertainment on the side will have no impact on the final numbers. It's real simple. You grab your ballot and start by checking Biden's box and you finish by marking Garza's box. In these times of Trump, this is the year for the Democrats."

GARZA 10-14

 Donald Trump, like a dog peeing on a fire hydrant, wants to leave his mark on Cameron County. His critics say that he intends to leave a stinking dump in Texas Democratic Chairman Gilberto Hinojosa's livingroom to let the former Cameron County Judge that he can shit anywhere he wants and nobody is going to do anything.

Trump recognizes that his Republican robots cannot defeat State Senator Eddie Lucio Jr. or Cameron County District Clerk Democratic nominee Laura Perez-Reyes. Desperate to find a scapegoat at whom he can direct his anti-Hispanic rhetoric, Trump has chosen Cameron County Sheriff Democratic nominee Eric Garza as his sacrificial lamb. He wants this former Cameron County District Clerk beaten like a piñata.

And his Harlingen Heathens are doing everything within their power to make Trump's nightmare come true. Harlingen, the former home of the KKK in the Rio Grande Valley, is a divided society where the gringos believe they still rule from behind their country club with walls constructed higher than the fortifications around the Alamo when the Mexicans taught the Texans a lesson in mano-a-mano combat.

There are many Mexican-Americans who remember when Harlingen's public swimming pool was off-limits to them, but the most racist community in the Rio Grande Valley is counting on their second-class citizens to forget the past and turn on one of their own in order to allow Trump and his Anglo-Americans Aryans to further consolidate their power.

Are the Democrats going to reward Trump when he has left thousands of their own dead in the RGV because of his incompetence in meeting the challenge of COVID-19? When are Trump via his Harlingen Heathens going to allege that Garza, as they have accused millions of other Hispanics, of being a rapist?

Will Trump, posing for a photo cop with a bible held high over his head, accuse Garza of fornicating with women against their will? The Harlingen Heathens are resorting to falsehoods printed in Mexican newspapers and indubitably paid for by Republican reactionaries to besmirch Garza's character in a demonstration of gutter politics that brings nothing but shame to the entire Democratic process.

Trump and the Republicans have demonstrated throughout the country that they will stop at nothing to suppress the vote. Will Cameron County Democrats permit Trump and his Republicans to resort to dark-alley tactics at any cost to vanquish Garza or has this county, just like this country, had enough of the traitorous Trump and his treacherous Republicans?

Take it from a Brownsville Democrat with Catholic roots who would rather be dead than call himself a Harlingen Republican Baptist: Eric Garza is not a rapist. Cameron County Mexican-Americans are not rapists. Mexicans are not rapists. If anyone is a rapist, it's Trump. And if anyone is raping us of our voting rights, it's Republicans.

But beware of these dogs. The Harlingen carpetbaggers are estimating that there are enough Brownsville scalawags who will swear their allegiance to Trump and stab one of their own in the back. The Harlingen Heathers are well aware that a gabacho cop could shoot a Brownsville chong in the back and not even Democrats like Eddie Treviño or Trey Mendez would question the murder.

Will Trump savor the pleasure of witnessing Garza shot down politically at high noon on Elizabeth Street? "One monster less," Trump would mutter as he drew a bead on Kamala Harris while reaching for her private parts.

GARZA 10-14

 Booby Witless-Cervezas, the publisher of El Brownsville Void, hasn't called himself Brownsville's only unbought blogger in quite some time. Is that because Donald's Trump's Harlingen Heathens are paying him to smear Cameron County Democratic nominee Eric Garza in order for a Republican to win the office? 

Witless-Cervezas barks repeatedly that Trump is white trash wrapped in dollar bills and that he would never support him, yet he is doing Trump's dirty work by allying himself with the Republicans as he attacks Garza on almost a daily basis in his bloviating and blathering blog.

"Booby is constantly complaining about his financial state and he would be an easy mark for a wheeler-and-dealer with plenty of cash in his wallet," said Billy Baker, the talkative twin of the investigative team known as the Baker Boys.

"I've been going through the financial reports and the Republicans are spending thousands and thousands of dollars to win one for the Gipper, or in this case, one for Trump," said Baker. 

"Booby mentioned several months ago that he was going to start selling advertising. Once you take money, you ain't a virgin any longer, honey. And Booby has a big, fat belly to fill and it takes money to keep that pig oinking."

Posting anti-Garza articles printed in Mexican newspapers with no evidence to substantiate the charges, Witless-Cervezas is practicing a journalism that would result in his disbarment as a reporter as it did as a lawyer.

"We are in trouble, people, and I can assure you our inept leaders Mayor Trey Mendez and County Judge will not denounce Eric Garza," wrote Witless-Cervezas before adding, "Democrats are tired of being taken by people like Eric Garza."

Who would have ever thought based on his reckless rhetoric that Booby would be in bed with Donald? That is a coupling that would even cause former Cameron County Judge Carlos Cascos and his Republican sidekick Cris Valadz to vomit.

GARZA 10-15

 There is no doubt that Harlingen is the most racist city in the Rio Grande Valley.

Federal Judge Filemon Vela and his wife Mayor Blanca Vela, both enjoying their rewards in heaven after their many acts of kindness for their fellow man, were raised in Harlingen, but they didn't want to raise their children in the redneck town where at one time Mexican-Americans weren't allowed to swim in the public pool. 

They moved to Brownsville. It was the best decision of their lives. They were welcomed with open arms. From the time that founder Charles Stillman hired Francisco Yturria to assist him in his business dealings, the Anglo-American and the Mexican-American have found common ground in Brownsville although all historians will recognize that it has been a process without its obstacles.

But there is a reality that reigns today. There is no racism in Brownsville. In Harlingen, you can feel the dagger-like stares of the dwindling Anglo-Americans burrowing through the backs of the Mexican-Americans. 

Nowhere is the white's disdain more tangible than at the Harlingen County Club. If you don't meet Hitler's standards of being a superior race, beware of the dog. And if both your parents were Jews but your father was black and your mother brown, don't even bother entering the clubhouse and pulling out your credit card to play a round of golf. We can hear the attendant now:

"What color are the golf balls?"

"White."

"Are you the same color as the golf balls?"

"No."

"Then I would suggest that you get the fuck out of here."

Harlingen is the former home of the KKK in the Rio Grande. Trump would call Harlingen home if he lived in the Valley. He could walk into the Harlingen County Club and call Mexican-Americans "rapists" and he would receive a standing ovation. To prove their loyalty, these carpetbaggers want to deliver Eric Garza's head on a platter to Trump.

Garza, who is the Democratic nominee for Cameron County Sheriff, is the target of accusations that could have easily flowed from Trump's filthy mouth. As Trump bellowed about Hispanics: "They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime."

His people are heeding his call.

How many militia groups reside in Harlingen? How hard are they working on behalf of Trump in order to destroy Garza simply because he is a Mexican-American? And if they are successful in vanquishing this hard-working young man, how many of these white supremacists will be working as Cameron County deputies next January?

The times of Trump teeter on the terrible. Trump, in cahoots with the many racist groups that support him, have done irreparable harm to our country. And four more years of this chaos would be the coup de grace. 

As bad as the reality is that we are facing, we have a simple choice before us: You're either for Trump or against Trump. You're either a Republican or a Democrat. We stand with the Democrat Garza. He brings hope of a better day. We stand against the Republican Trump and all his desperados. They will turn our streets into rivers of blood. 

GARZA 10-16

 Dr. Polyphemous Pangloss, after making the rounds at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, invited the Chicano poet Estanislao Contreras to lunch. They met at La Playa, Harlingen's version of Brownsville's Vermillion. Contreras thought twice. He has never felt at ease in the former home of the KKK in the RGV, but he was hungry and his buddy was covering the bill. "What the hell!" he thought.

 Dr. Pangloss was sitting on the bar side.

"You're as white as a ghost," said the physician. "Are you allright?"

"I hate this racist town. You say I'm as white as a ghost? Maybe these white supremacists won't mistake me for a Mexican and instead of my natural brown they will leave me black and blue. Do you see how these white-trash reactionaries are doing Trump's dirty work by coordinating the dirtiest campaign I've witnessed in 45 years covering local politics. They know that everyone is for sale across the border, so they are planting stories in the Mexican newspapers to undermine Eric Garza's efforts to be our next sheriff. He beat Sheriff Omar Lucio in the Democratic Primary fair and square. Are you going to tell me that some of our poor losers are allying themselves with the treacherous Trump? In 2020 no true Democrat would ever vote for Trump or the Republicans. They have left 215,000 of our fellow Americans dead and millions unemployed."

"I read the militias are joining the Republican ranks against Garza because they want to be sheriff deputies come next January," observed Dr. Pangloss.

"I've heard they call themselves the Harlingen Heathens. They are a bunch of Neo-Nazi Baptists who have no respect for our Catholicism. I heard one of these rednecks say, 'The Virgin of Guadalupe is the world's biggest whore because she fucks the poor for all their dough.'"

"Damn! Trump would have had a hard time topping that one. Has he called Eric a rapist yet? Has he said that Eric is financing his campaign through drug money? Has he said that Eric won't be able to meet the challenge of his new office because Mexicans are bringing nothing but crime to the Valley?"

"The carpetbagger is counting on the Mexican-American scalawags to turn on Eric because Trump knows that many Mexican Americans feel like they are second-class citizens and in order to ascend the social ranks they choose to pay homage to him, their White Master," spat Estanislao. 

"I hope our Democratic leaders like the Lucios, Gilberto Hinojosa, Eddie Treviño, Trey Mendez, David Betancourt, Sylvia Garza-Perez and Sofia Benavides are not tolerating any middle ground. You are either a Democrat or you aren't. If you are a Trump Republicans, you deserve to burn in hell for an eternity for all the death and destruction Trump and his traitors have unleashed on our country."

"I know a few Democrats who have disgraced themselves because Trump has put a few extra thousand in their pockets, but Eric is doing an excellent job at unifying the party and he is going mano-a-mano with Trump and his Harlingen Heathens by exposing them as the true hypocrites they are," said Dr. Pangloss. 

"We are a sick nation. Our only cure rests with electorate. They have to excise the cancer that Trump and his Republican reactionaries are in order to restore us to our health. With the Democrats we will once again rise. With the Republicans we are signing our demise."     

GARZA 10-21 RID THE RATS

 President Donald Trump has unleashed his rats on the people of Cameron County, but Democrats are counting on four Pied Pipers to rid the population of these vermin. With the instincts of merciless cats, Congressman Filemon Vela, State Senator Eddie Lucio, Cameron County Sheriff nominee Eric Garza and Cameron County District Clerk nominee Laura Perez-Reyes are going to eliminate these rodents who have allowed Trump to unleash his COVID plague upon us. 

"Because of Trump, more than 220,000 Americans have died, thousands more are sentenced to death, millions are without jobs and his private militia is prepared to launch attacks on the government to keep the dictator Trump in power if he loses," says Justo Leyes, The McHale Report's legal expert.

"We're not talking about Republicans in the tradition of Tony Garza and Carlos Cascos. We're talking about racists. We're talking about rednecks. We're talking about reactionaries. We're talking about religious right bigots whose ancestors used the Bible to justify slavery. We're talking about rotgut Republicans who wouldn't think about lynching a Mexican for a second if Trump, who knows rape better than most, accused him of being a rapist."

Says a Vela supporter: "This is a black-and-white election. It is a Democratic palanca vote. To vote Republican is to betray our country. The Republicans have chosen the path of darkness. The Democrats will lead us up the high road to sanity."

Says a Lucio supporter: "The Lucios, father and son, are taking no prisoners in this battle for our nation's soul. They are both religious and family men and they recognize that the tramp Trump and the hypocritical Republicans pay lip service to morality and integrity, but the whole time they're kissing the big, fat, ugly asses of the wealthy."

Says a Garza supporter: "Trump talks about law and order. The man is a criminal. He has been a criminal all his life. As president, he has overseen a criminal enterprise. He doesn't think twice about separating families and putting children in cages when he is the one who should be in cage for the rest of his life. If he had control of the county, he would turn our resacas into swamps."

Says a Perez-Reyes supporter: "This man is a sexual monster. He believes he can kill anyone he wants. He believes he can grab a woman by her private parts. He is an unapologetic predator. How can any self-respecting woman vote for this libertine? He even gloats about having sex with his daughter Ivanka. God has reserved a room in hell for him a floor above Hitler."

With less than two weeks until the elections, this is the year of the Democrat. If it isn't, then it will never be the year of the Democrat. Trump and the treacherous Republicans have never been so vulnerable. If we don't put them out of their misery now, we will be the ones condemned to a miserable existence.

GARZA 10-24 TV SUIT

 John Chambers, the Republican candidate for Cameron County Sheriff, is not only receiving bad press from KRGV, but the station is also suing the candidate with a checkered past to say the least.

An angry and outraged Oscar Adame, the Channel 5 anchor, said that the news outlet was taking the god-fearing hypocrite--he likes to hold the Bible over his head like his leader Donald Trump--for using the company's material without permission.

Chambers is running against Democrat Eric Garza, the former Cameron County District Clerk who shellacked longtime Sheriff Omar Lucio in a runoff. Chambers has been describing Garza--in the name of Jesus Christ--that his challenger is the next Conrado Cantu, the Singing Sheriff who spent nearly two decades in a federal prison for escorting drug shipments from Mexico.

"It seems we have a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. It isn't uncommon that when we accuse others of improper conduct, we are usually the ones most culpable of that behavior," said Marshall Law, The McHale Report's expert on all police matters.

"If my sources are correct, Garza doesn't have so much as a ticket for jaywalking while Chambers was once convicted of 14 felonies and is now waiting on his sentencing of 14 misdemeanors. Each one carries a possible $4000 fine and a year in jail. Should Chambers prevail against Garza, there is the very real possibility that he might be running the Sheriff's office from inside a cell at Rucker-Carrizales.

"I have scrutinized Chambers past in law enforcement and it is not a very impressive record. I am preparing an article for The McHale Report about his time as a cop on the beat when he worked for Police Chief A.J. Pinson in Early, Texas. I was shocked by Chambers' dearth of professionalism. And, of course, there was his turbulent time as the Indian Lake Police Department. 

"For the record, Cantu, embarking on his term as Cameron County Sheriff, was a saint compared to Chambers although he quickly descended into hell. I don't think there is any doubt that the Republican--no different than his hero Trump--is the devil in disguise. He talks a good game and with $225,000 in his coffers according to his last campaign report, his empty words are amplified. The Baker Boys are currently investigating the source of these funds that defy normal expenditures for this post." 

Reporter Monica De Anda was as biting as the highly respected and popular Adame. She focused on the lawless lawman's own legal problems. She spotlighted Chambers' disgraceful background in which he is dealing with more than a score of felonies and misdemeanors. She also analyzed Garza's resumé and was praiseworthy in her rendition of his accomplishments.

"We have jailbirds who want to take over the Brownsville Independent School District Board of Trustees and now we have a jailbird who in the name of Trump wants to be our next sheriff," spat Justo Leyes, The McHale Reports law expert.  In breaking his story about Republican Cameron County Sheriff "Chubby" John Chambers stalking a 16-year-old girl earlier in his law enforcement career, The Brownsville Republic's Publisher /DP-M based the allegation on an official police report. 

He spoke about a number of documents that he suspected had come from the Eric Garza camp impugning Chambers' character. Garza, the former Cameron County District Clerk, is the Democratic nominee.

With our longtime friend and ally claiming that he had the physical evidence to substantiate the salacious charge, we contacted The Baker Boys, the famed investigative duo, and requested they contact all their sources and find the documents that the usually truthful /DP-M insisted he possessed. 

Within an hour, the pair had returned with 20 documents, many with two and more pages. They are an extremely negative perspective on Chambers' performance as a policeman in Early, Texas at the turn of the century. As the following letter indicates, Chambers' time in the redneck town did not end well.

With Police Chief A. J. Pinson's name insribed across the letterhead, it reads, "After reviewing documents from Assistant Chief Butch Lawson's investigation and evaluations, and from contacts and consultations I have had, I have determined that it is in the best interest of the Early Police Department and the City of Early not to retain John Chambers for employment with the Early Police Department.

"Numerous issues continue to be brought to my and Assistant Chief Lawson's attention to be investigated. Due to the continuing violations of department policy and inability to conform to our standards John Chambers is not compatible with our department."

/DP-M had broken the story about Chambers stalking a 16-year-old three weeks ago, but The McHale Report missed the disturbing information. Once again this weekend he wrote that Chambers was "stalking a 16-year-old girl" in his characterization of the reactionary Republican but without attribution, which is not the kind of mistake a veteran journalist who has written for some of the country's biggest newspapers would normally commit. In order to walk back his error, he printed the report filed against Chambers regarding the stalking controversy that we now possess. We reprint the document unedited:

DETAILS OF INVESTIGATION : On Friday August 30 2002 Chief Pinson advised me that he had received a phone call from Shavonda Christmas regarding her 16 year old daughter. Mrs. Christmas told Chief Pinson that her daughter confided in her that an Early Police Officer has been following her. The Officer has followed her to work and then sat in the drive thru wanting to talk to her thru the drive thru window. The Officer has followed her to a friends house on Garmon dr on two occations. the complainant is concerned and fears oppression and or retaliation if she told anyone.

INVESTIGATOR‘SREMARKS : 1 drove to the Early high school and spoke with 18. she told me that Officer Chambers had investigated an accident that she was involved in and that ever since that day he has followed her from school to work and then follows her when she leaves for the night. she stated that he had recently followed her to a friends house after she had gotten off work. she said that when she saw him drive up behind her she exited her car and ran into her friends house, he then spoke with an occupunt of the house and wanted to know where “the girl” was. stated that she does‘nt know why he keeps following her but she is frightened and fears some type of retaliation from the officer should she confide in anyone. she stated that on Monday August 26 2002, she was not scheduled to work and was told by her supervisor that the officer circled the restuarant several times as well as sat in the parking lot for a time. she also stated that Officer Chambers has been parked at the Early High School at dismissal time and has followed her from there as well, it has been brought to my attention that Chambers had reportedly made advances toward another local female who’s husband has not yet decided how to handle the situation because of fear of retaliation, as well as a female dispatcher at the Law Enforcement Center in Brownwood. 

For the staff at The McHale Report the documents that /DP-M reported existed are being scrutinized with a magnifying glass. Thus far the revelations are a ringing indictment of Chambers in both his professional and personal conduct. The fact that /DP-M revealed that Chambers was "stalking a 16-year-old girl" has Chambers and his Republican renegades frantically looking for an explanation to counter /DP-M's outstanding investigative reporting. The South Texas Independent Journalists Association (STIJA) has ranked him as the favorite to receive its coveted Journalist of the Year award.

"/DP-M has stated unequivocally and categorically that Chambers isn't fit to be sheriff," said Scott Steinbeck, The McHale Report's managing editor. "Though we often differ in our opinions with /DP-M, we agree that Chambers is unfit for the position. From the details that we are collecting from the same documents /DP-M is utilizing for his own reporting on Chambers' excesses and outrages, we can affirm that the stalking of a 16-year-old girl is only the tip of the iceberg."
